Really lovely new spot, I hope it does well! We always planned to come and try it out on the first Saturday it was open, and we're glad we did. The almond croissant was delicious as was the dirty chai, and my partner's bacon sandwich looked great, with really tasty fresh bread. This is going to become a new regular spot for us. It's beautifully designed and decorated too, so it's a very lovely spot to sit and relax whether you're inside or outside.

A cozy small little shop with outstanding toasties. I had Reuben toasties, the sauerkraut is surprisingly stunning and mouth-watering. Definitely recommend.

Day one of my Lake District trip brought me to Crumb for a quick lunchtime bite – mostly because it was one of the few places actually open on a Monday, while most cafés in Kendal took the day off! Crumb may be small in size, but it delivers big on value. It’s no surprise it holds a flawless 5-star rating - and I’d gladly add mine to the pile. The whole experience was a delight. The staff are incredibly friendly and have this lovely, welcoming energy that instantly puts you at ease. The artisan coffee? Brewed to perfection, with a rich flavour to match. I could’ve happily stayed for another cup (or two). Despite a compact menu, I felt spoiled for choice - everything sounded mouth-wateringly good. When my plate arrived, I’ll admit I had a moment of regret… only because I wished I could try everything on the menu once I saw how good it looked. I genuinely can’t think of a single fault. Crumb is more than deserving of its 5 stars - and then some.

We popped in on our way home from a week up in the Lakes and had a lovely experience. The staff were so lovely. Coffee was bang on and the toasties were so good. Hot honey as a dip btw was a shout! Also, they have pastel de nata, so you can’t lose! Staff were very kind and we will defo be back if we find ourselves in Kendal again!

We visited here on the first day and were very impressed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. We were in a hurry so just had a takeaway. The New Yorker sandwich in particular was amazing. I'd definitely recommend.
